Life on the Ranch
We have 76 acres of wonderful West Texas intrusted to us by God. We have a one-acre organic veggie, herb and flower garden. We run goats, horses & beef on 50 acres (mostly goats.) Here is a composite picture of the ranch taken fall 2005.

The center picture is our front gate; the name of our ranch is Heaven's Gait Ranch. Gait is another name for walk. Top left is our Boer buck, Romeo. He is looking in on Emily just after she had her triplets. Romeo was a good daddy and guards for the babies. We lost our Romeo in a freak accident on October 18, 2006. Romeo will be greatly missed and we had some of his great kids in the Spring of 2007. I will have picture of our young buck, Munster, uploaded to this page soon. Bottom right is Doris just before she had her triplets. Bottom right is Alissa minutes after she was born to Doris. Bottom middle is Emily with her 1-hour-old triplets. My girls usually have triplets. Top right is a picture of our place looking off one of the plateaus. Our ranch is rough country perfect for goats and wild life. Early mornings you can see wild turkey, deer, raccoons, skunks, coyotes and an occasion mountain lion or bobcat. The next picture is me and my production staff. The girls smell goodies on me and want some now!
